I am looking for my Sandrs relatives. Related to the Lincoln line through Robert Lincoln in the 1500's. Abe a cousin, also George Bush and Gerald Ford. Stuck in Spencer Co. Indiana in 1850 as Alfred Sanders b. 1812 disappeared during the Civil War. No death certificate. Trying to find his father's name.May have been changed from an Austrian surname. Perhaps during revoluntionary times. Could have been a Hessian soldier. However Hannianiah Lincoln and Thomas Sanders were great friends and travelled around together. Maybe you have some infor or have tips on links to my branch?

Looking for info on the Goodwin branch that started in Louisville, KY. I can't remember the Goodwin name but he married a Samantha Whiteside or Whitehead. I line is decended from Victor Levi Goodwin, that traveled to Arkansas. Will visit back when I remember to bring my papers. Bye for now.

Great page folks! I descend from a Daniel Goodwin who served under Governor Shirley's regiment at Fort cumberland in what was then Nova Scotia. My aunt has a full tree...I'll get a copy and give you some more info.Cheers
