My father, Charles Judson Goodwin, was born at Otter Pond, Ky. around 1898. I read in an early Ky. history book that Samuel Goodwin, with his sons James and Robert, traveled by covered wagon from Tenn. to Ky. The family had come from Virgina earlier. Dad told me at the time that one of the sons was his father or grandfather. One of them married (Elizabeth?) Harper, of Harper's Ferry family. The history book and Dad talked of "Bullie" Goodwin, a prize fighter of local note. Are any of these names familiar to you?
